Leaders + Staff
Meet our Staff
I have been on staff at FBC since August of 2013. I feel very blessed to work at Foothills not only doing what I love but mostly working with as well as around fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. My incredible wife Ashley and I have been married since 2009 and we both love worship music, camping, hiking, adventuring, and movies.
Adult Ministries Director
Billy Brand, Adult Ministries Director
I first began attending FBC in 1989 and have had various ministry positions throughout the years, including deacon, missionary (Go Worker) and most recently Director of Student Ministries since 2010. I love working at FBC because it’s like working with my family. I love the people here and each Sunday is like a family reunion. I have been married to Stacey since 2002. We have two daughters, Lily and Esther, born in ’07 & ’09. We love to play games. Dominion is our current favorite. I also like video games. I collect chess boards and enjoy a good game of chess.
Brad Smith, Finance Director
I started working at FBC on December 1, 2014. My wife Kristy and I met at LeTourneau University and were married in 1987. God entrusted us with a son, Caleb, in 2001. He was born in Florida. Prior to that we lived in California. We were raised in IL and MA respectively. We have immediate family members in MT, TX, AL, FL and CO. I love participating in all sports and outdoor activities, especially bicycling in the mountains. I cherish opportunities to have significant eternal influence in other lives. As a family we enjoy hiking, watching movies, visiting family and experiencing new places.
Chase Lofe, Office Administrator
I began working at FBC in 2014 and married one of my best friends, Tom, in May 2015. He is working in the medical field, and really enjoys training and learning about fitness! We love to try new restaurants, work out, and play on our indoor soccer team together. I enjoy filling the rest of my free time with concerts, volleyball, crafting, and skiing! I also will never tire of watching Disney movies or drinking coffee. On Sundays, I can often be found volunteering in Gathering Grounds and filling up on espresso.
Dave Smith, Security Director
I have a wife, 3 grown children, 4 grandchildren and 3 miniature dachshunds. Deb and I were married in 2000 after I moved here from Kansas City. I volunteered for the church safety team when it first started and actually came on board as a staff member on July 15, 2014. I enjoy being around the preschool children and keeping them safe. They are so precious. We love to take our RV up into the mountains and enjoy what God created. Barbecuing is one of my favorite pastimes.
Dree Riffel, Communications Director
I started working at FBC in December of 2005. My husband, Tom and I have been married since 1997. We’re blessed with two kids, Jacob and Megan, who have grown up in this church. We love doing various family activities together and traveling. I moved to Colorado from Seattle when I was in middle school and have lived here ever since. I love the year-round sunshine!
Drew Thurston, Janitorial Coordinator
I began working at Foothills December 2009. It’s a blessing to work in a facility I associate with family—the place where my wife, Lisa, and I were married in 2005. Now it’s the place where our children are growing up– Annora, who was born in 2007 and twins Constance and Graham who were born in 2013. In my free time I play violin and sometimes the piano with the Littleton Symphony. Other professional activities of mine are magazine and book illustration and doing oil paintings with a wide variety of subjects. I also enjoy performing ventriloquism and writing. I grew up in Littleton.
Assistant Facilities Manager
Glen Moore, Assistant Facilities Manager
I have been a member of the FBC family since 1980 and have served as a deacon, and many volunteer committees and leadership positions. FBC has always been a “solid rock” for my family to thrive in our spiritual walks with our Lord. I have many different hobbies from hunting, skiing, boating, motorcycles and any type of sports. In June of 2016 I joined the staff at FBC as the assistant facilities manager and look forward to many years of making sure this building is beautiful and honoring our Lord!
Early Childhood Coordinator
Heidi Minaga, Early Childhood Coordinator
I’ve been working here at FBC since September of 2016. I also have had the pleasure of growing up here at FBC since the young age of 3! I enjoy having a loving church family that grows continually. I married my amazing husband Todd in 2013 and we had our daughter Hava in October of 2014. I am a homebody who loves spending time with my little family as well as watching Netflix and doing crafty things.
Growth Group Pastor
Jeremy Hart, Growth Group Pastor
Jill and I began ministering with the FBC youth and their families in 1995. We took a break from the Denver traffic in 2000 and moved to a small town in southeast Kansas where I served as a youth pastor. After 7 years and adding two fantastic children to the mix, we came back to Foothills and the wonderful state of Colorado. When not overcommitted with work, school or sports activities, our family can be found out enjoying the beauty of Colorado or relaxing at home watching Netflix or cheering on the Broncos. In addition to people’s positive responses to all the changes that God is bringing about at Foothills, one of the most exciting aspects of serving at FBC right now is seeing how people are truly connecting and growing together in Growth Groups.
Josh Dekker, Worship Pastor
I am so excited to have joined the Foothills staff and Church family in September 2016. My family and I moved across the country from Minnesota and have had such a strong sense that God has called us here to Foothills to be part of such a great church in the years to come! My wife, Emily, and I love being in the outdoors together with our two girls, Opal and Rose, hiking, biking, backpacking and are thrilled at the thought of being outside during the winter! I am passionate about worship as a lifestyle of surrender to God, and love to create gatherings that focus our hearts on Jesus to see and respond to Him in corporate worship! Feel free to get me to say boat, and we can laugh together as my Minnesotan dialect shows my roots).

It’s also a place that keeps you on your toes: You never know who might be lurking around the next corner ready to jump out and scare you! Foothills is a place that quickly felt like home, and everybody here is family. My wife Raven and I were married in May 2012 and our son Caleb was born in October 2014. We love to hang out together, whether it’s just at home playing with Caleb’s toys or outside in the mountains or on some trail experiencing creation together! We’re also a Broncos loving family, as if there were any other option.
Children’s Ministry Assistant
Raven Jones, Children’s Ministry Assistant
I had the great opportunity to come on staff at FBC in February 2016. I married my amazing, super funny husband, Nick in May of 2012 and we had our adorable little boy Caleb (Nick’s mini-me!) in October of 2014. They are pretty much my favorites over everything. I am a born and raised Texas girl and God finally let Nick win when He called us to Colorado in September of 2015. My motto is that coffee makes everything in life better, whether that’s time with friends, reading a good book, getting a pedicure, or eating chocolate.. all things I love!

Children’s Ministry Assistant
Stephanie Pullig, Children’s Ministry Assistant
Les and I got married September 15, 2001 (yes, days after September 11!) and began attending FBC in 2005 soon after Isaac was born. Levi came a couple years later and FBC has been our church family as we’ve raised our boys. It was a natural transition for me to become an Assistant in the Children’s Ministry in November 2016 where I can serve in an environment that has blessed me immensely. I truly love building relationships especially with other moms (it takes a village!). I enjoy my busy, sports-filled world with my boys, but relish movies, walks, books and baking (well…food in general!).
Todd Minaga, Media Director
I’ve been on staff in this capacity since 2011 and involved here at FBC in one way or another since 2004. I love that God uses me to reach lost and hurting people and my favorite thing about being in ministry here is seeing lives changed! I married my beautiful wife Heidi in 2013 and we had our first daughter in October of 2014. Growing up in the backwoods of Colorado has led me to appreciate the finer things in life – shooting things, roughing it in the woods, and modifying junker cars that never quite run right…if they run at all!
