Discipleship is a lifelong journey of becoming more like Jesus. We offer classes that we believe are essential for every believer to grow spiritually. They’ll cover topics such as biblical foundations, missional living, at-home discipleship, and other important subjects.

Everyday Theology

Sunday Mornings | October 4 – November 15 | Aspen Room | 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.

Everyday Theology explores the foundational truths of the Christian faith and shows how biblical doctrine shapes our everyday lives. Together, we’ll examine what God has revealed about Himself, humanity, sin, and the saving work of Jesus Christ, building a stronger foundation for faithful living and confident discipleship.

Sundays Mornings | October 4 – November 8 | Evergreen Room | 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

A 6-week journey through the grand narrative of Scripture, from creation to new creation. Together, we’ll see how each part of the Bible fits into God’s redemptive plan and discover our place in His ongoing story. This class will deepen your understanding of God’s Word and equip you to live out its truth in everyday life.

The Journey of a Lifetime: Experiencing the Adventure of God’s Word for Yourself.
Do you long to hear from God through His Word, but don’t know where to begin? Or does your time in God’s Word fall flat? The Bible is God’s gift to help us understand and follow Him, and you can have a rich study experience. Join us to learn the questions to ask, the resources to use, and the process to follow to help the Bible come to life.

Family Discipleship

Tuesday Evenings | October 27 – December 8 | Aspen Room | 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

A 7-week class designed to equip parents to become the primary disciple makers within their home. This class will look at God’s design for the family, the role of parents and children within the family unit, and give practical, engaging ways for parents to disciple their children.

New Members Class

Sunday | October 4 | Upper Lobby| 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. 

We’re not meant to walk this trail of following Jesus alone. We follow Jesus in partnership with other Jesus-followers committing to one another in local churches.

Come and learn more about what it means to partner with FBC through membership. Pastor Shawn will share the vision and values of the church, and how partnership with FBC makes a difference in our lives and the world. Dinner is provided! Childcare is available with prior registration.
