Our advent sermon series begins at the beginning of December. Join us as we follow the centuries-old spiritual practice of Advent. During these 4 weeks, we’ll look at hope, love, peace and joy which will help us arrive with an attitude of wonder that Jesus came to save us.
Hope | December 1, 2019
As we begin our advent series, we look at Luke 1:5-25. This amazing story begins with a series of dramatic events. All things come together to show us how God wants people to live with the Hope of a miracle.
Love | December 8, 2019
As humans, we have a limited view of love. We can reach our limit when we’ve been wronged and turn away from someone. But God has supernatural, unlimited amounts of agape love. So much so, that He sent His son Jesus as love in the flesh.
Peace | December 15, 2019
Isaiah 9:6-7, Luke 2:13-14
There’s something in our hearts that desires peace. In this world, we can’t experience true peace. The beauty of Jesus coming as the Prince of Peace is that he reverses the separation that happened between us and God because of sin.
Joy | December 22, 2019
Human beings are in constant pursuit of joy. Why do we do this? Because there’s a joy vacuum in our hearts. What can fill this vacuum? Earthly things bring temporary happiness but Jesus brings lasting joy.
