We are a group of moms who want to explore what God wants for us by sharing with each other, looking at real life scenarios, and asking Him how we parent and grow His character in us and our kids. We will celebrate our good days, laugh or cry together at our mom fail days, but ultimately encourage each other in this journey of motherhood.

“One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are” by Ann Voskamp
Wednesdays at FBC, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | January 11, 2023 – May 24, 2023
Leaders: Ruth Kneebone & Sandy Eskew
This group is for widows. This study by Voskamp is a grace-filled invitation to leave the parched ground of pride, fear, and white-knuckle control behind—and immerse yourself in the depths of God! Her gentle reflections will teach us how to biblically lament loss, be transfigured by pain, intentionally embrace radical gratitude, and abandon ourselves to God.

“I-2 Peter: Living Hope in a Hard World”
Tuesdays at FBC, 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. | January 10, 2023 – May 23, 2023
Leaders: Sandy Lucadam & Jackie Boldrin
Peter’s Epistles are a rallying cry for hope. Written to a young church facing intensifying persecution, they showcase the living hope of the gospel even in the midst of trials and tribulation. Join us for this Lydia Brownback study as we dig deeper into the books of 1–2 Peter and learn that God does not abandon us in our suffering. Through the themes of suffering, the transformative power of God, spiritual authority, false teachers, and the last days, Peter directs us to the God who is faithful in our trials, working them for his glory and for our good.

“1 & 2 Thessalonians & Titus: Living Faithfully in View of Christ’s Coming”
Tuesdays at FBC, 9:30 – 11:45 a.m.
Thursdays via Zoom, 9:30 – 11:45 a.m.
Leader: Susan Breuch
In this Bible study for women, John MacArthur will take us through 1 & 2 Thessalonians & Titus, exploring Paul’s words on how to live in view of Jesus’ return to this world and lead a life worthy of the calling Christ has placed on each of us.

“Matchless: The Life and Love of Jesus” by Angie Smith
Thursdays at FBC, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., | January 19, 2023 – April 20, 2023
Leader: Julie Dodd
Childcare is available. To register, use the link below and complete the form then follow the instructions to register for childcare.
For those of you that like the big-picture context this is the study for you. Angie Smith unfolds the story of our matchless Savior—His mission, miracles, and message. Through her signature wit and accessible style, Angie unpacks Scripture in a way that’s easy to understand. This study will deepen your understanding of Jesus through biblical, historical, and cultural insight and help you see Him less as an iconic figure and more as an intimate friend.

“Joshua & Judges”
Tuesdays at FBC, 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. | January 10, 2023 -May 23, 2023
Leaders: Julie Padilla & Jean Rozelle
For our Winter/Spring study, we will be finishing up the book of Joshua and beginning Judges. We will discover in Judges that no matter how far our sins take us, God will go farther to bring us back. As you study Judges, you will witness how deeply God loves even the worst of sinners.

“Trustworthy – A Study of 1 & 2 Kings”

No human can carry the weight of being their own god, but so many of us try. In this study of 1 & 2 Kings, you can join Lysa TerKeurst in Israel as she honestly reveals the places of distrust in her own heart while exploring the deeply personal applicable Scriptures that will teach us how to truly trust God.

“God’s Unbreakable Promises”
2nd and 4th Sundays at FBC, 6:30 p.m. | September 11, 2022 – April 23, 2023
Leaders: Stacy Brand & Darla Wampler
This group of moms is a place of support and friendships and a deeper dive into the study of God’s Word. You’ll love the connection and community of this fun mom-of-all-ages-and-stages group. This Winter we will be doing a study on God’s Unbreakable Promises by Jennie Allen. In this six-session study, we will walk through some of the promises and covenants God made with his people to understand more of the story of God and the big picture of his unfailing love for us.
