Join us August 9 – September 6 for a sermon series called One Another. How does God intend the church to be the church, when churches aren’t meeting like normal on Sunday mornings? Could the Bible’s instruction on One Another’s be the answer? During this series, we’ll look in-depth at love, unity, humility and bearing each other’s burdens. This is the way God wants us to be the church, during these strange times and all the time.
One Another Sermons
Love One Another | August 9, 2020
Jesus commanded us to love one another, so as Christians, the most obvious quality of our lives should be how we show love to others. In fact, loving one another should be the most stand-out quality of us and of the church.
Unity with One Another | August 16, 2020
Christian unity means accepting and embracing other Christians who think, believe and act differently than us because our focus is on salvation. We can experience unity when we remember that we’ve received grace that none of us deserve.
Humility with One Another | August 23, 2020
Being humble with one another means we should do nothing out of selfishness or self promotion. Instead, we should devote ourselves to lifting up others because of the work God is doing through them.
The Don’ts of One Another | September 6, 2020
Christians are called to be a community showing radical grace like the grace we’ve received through our salvation. We should be showing love, humility and bearing one another’s burdens. We should not be showing judgement, withholding intimacy or grumbling with one another.
