Life Skills G2’s
Life Skills G2’s are designed to meet specific needs that address issues at a deeper level than our regular G2’s. Groups will meet anywhere from 4-12 weeks depending on the topic and content. Group topics are changing all the time so be sure to check back and see what is coming up at FBC!
Parenting the Strong-Willed Child
Sundays, April 3 – May 22 | 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
The goal of this Life Skills G2 is to support parents as they gain a greater understanding of their child’s unique temperaments and lead to more effective parental responses and strengthen the parent/child relationship. First, we will focus on understanding your child’s temperament and give strategies for managing the behaviors. The second area of focus is helping parents develop a more positive view of their child. In combination, this will increase parents’ ability to exhibit appropriate parental authority and restore their feeling of control in their relationship with their child. This group meets at the church in the Aspen Room and the cost is $10 per couple.
American Sign Language Class
