Starting Point

Sundays | January 11 – February 8 | SHED Loft | 10:30 – 11:45 a.m.

In this 5-week class, we will expand our understanding of the Gospel and how it plays into all parts of our life. We’ll look at the true story of the whole world, what it is to follow Jesus in real life, talk through some tough questions, and how we participate in God’s mission wherever we work, live, and play. If you’re new to Foothills or looking to join a G2 for the first time, this is the place to begin! Foundations will be offered three times per year.

ReEngage

Tuesdays | January 20 – May 5 | SHED Loft | 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

ReEngage is discipleship-based enrichment for every marriage – the healthy, the struggling, and the broken. This ministry draws married couples to the church, giving them a safe place to move toward oneness through small groups, teaching, and stories of hope. Cost is $75/per couple. Childcare is available.

GriefShare

Sundays | January 25 – April 26 | SHED Loft | 1:00 p.m.

GriefShare is a support group that is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. In this 13-week group, you’ll receive valuable guidance and tips that lead to relief, comfort, and peace of mind.

Merge Premarital

Thursdays | February 5- March 26 | SHED B5/6 | 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

This 8-week class is filled with large group teaching, small group discussion, interactive activities, and weekly homework for couples. Topics will include communication, expectations, intimacy, and finances. Couples will have an opportunity to connect with other couples in the class and have seasoned leader couples who will provide support and care for their relationship and growth.

Faithful Work

Sundays | February 8 – March 1 | Evergreen Room | 9:00 – 10:15 a.m.

Faithful Work is a 4-week class that helps followers of Jesus connect their faith to their everyday work. Rather than separating work from discipleship, this class invites participants to see the workplace as a meaningful arena for following Jesus. Open to anyone seeking to live faithfully where God has placed them, Faithful Work offers a renewed vision for work as part of God’s purposes in the world.

Living the Story

Sundays | February 15 – March 22 | Aspen Room | 10:30 – 11:45 a.m.

A 6-week journey through the grand narrative of Scripture, from creation to new creation. Together, we’ll see how each part of the Bible fits into God’s redemptive plan and discover our place in His ongoing story. This class will deepen your understanding of God’s Word and equip you to live out its truth in everyday life.

Journey of a Lifetime

Mondays | March 2 – April 6 | Aspen Room | 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

The Journey of a Lifetime: Experiencing the Adventure of God’s Word for Yourself.
Do you long to hear from God through His Word, but don’t know where to begin? Or does your time in God’s Word fall flat? The Bible is God’s gift to help us understand and follow Him, and you can have a rich study experience. Join us to learn the questions to ask, the resources to use, and the process to follow to help the Bible come to life.

Spiritual Leadership

Sundays | April 12 – May 17 | SHED B2/3| 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.

A 6-week class designed to equip men and women to be spiritual leaders in the home, workplace, church, and anywhere God calls them to be. Participants will prepare each week by reading a section of Spiritual Leadership by J. Oswald Sanders, and come ready to engage in a great dialogue about what spiritual leadership truly is.

Discovering Generosity

Thursdays | March 5 – 19 | Evergreen Room | 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Discovering Generosity is a 3-session experience designed to help continue our spiritual formation into the likeness of Jesus for the sake of others. Through God’s Word, we examine our hearts’ relationship with money and wealth to unlock secrets to joy and financial freedom at any income level. We will explore spiritual disciplines related to possessions that will help us avoid faith-killing traps along our spiritual journey. In the end, we hope you leave with renewed excitement for God’s purposes for your resources.
