Equipping Classes
Discipleship is a lifelong journey of becoming more like Jesus. We offer classes that we believe are essential for every believer to grow spiritually. They’ll cover topics such as biblical foundations, missional living, at-home discipleship, and other important subjects.
Starting Point
Sundays, September 7 – October 5, 2025
In this 5 week class, we will expand our understanding of the Gospel and how it plays into all parts of our life. We’ll look at the true story of the whole world, what it is to follow Jesus in real life, talk through some tough questions, and how we participate in God’s mission wherever we work, live, and play. If you’re new to Foothills or looking to join a G2 for the first time, this is the place to begin! Foundations will be offered three times per year.
Merge Premarital
Thursdays, September 18 – November 6, 2025
This 8-week class is filled with large group teaching, small group discussion, interactive activities, and weekly homework for couples. Topics will include communication, expectations, intimacy, and finances. Couples will have an opportunity to connect with other couples in the class and have seasoned leader couples who will provide support and care for their relationship and growth.
Living the Story
Sundays, October 19 – November 23, 2025
A 6 week equipping class that examines the narrative of the Bible and answers some key questions along the way: Who is God? Who am I? What does my life have to do with God?
Family Discipleship
Tuesdays, October 21 – November 18, 2025
A 6 week class designed to equip parents to become the primary disciple makers within their home. This class will look at God’s design for the family, the role of parents and children within the family unit, and give practical, engaging ways for parents to disciple their children.
Teammates for Life

Have you ever wondered what it means to disciple your children in the Christian faith? Knowing that parenting can be the most stressful, fun, messy, and beautiful thing we can do in life, our aim is to equip you with practical tools for walking with your kids on a journey of faith in your household. This 7-week class is designed to help you establish a sustainable rhythm of time, moments, and milestones as you raise your children and to teach them what it means to live as Christ’s followers. Cost: $20 per couple for book materials.
Spiritual Leadership
Sundays, October 5 – 26 2025
A four week class designed to equip men and women to be spiritual leaders in the home, workplace, church, and anywhere God calls them to be. Participants will prepare each week by reading a section of Spiritual Leadership by Oswald Sanders and come ready to engage in great dialogue about what spiritual leadership really is.
