One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. ~Psalm 27:4
At FBC we worship because we were created to. God, in His grace, has revealed Himself throughout all of creation, in the person of Jesus Christ, all of scripture, and in our hearts. Therefore, we respond in worship.
In 1 Chronicles 15:22 we are told that Kenaniah was put in charge of lifting up song because he was skilled and able. Those who serve in the worship ministry at Foothills are called and gifted to do so. We use these gifts to worship God and encourage the congregation to do likewise.
At Foothills, we don't believe that our worship should be tied to a particular style. We believe that God is more concerned with the hearts that we bring to worship than the style.
That being said, we love to experiment! You may come one weekend and only hear hymns and then on another weekend you might hear an acoustic set. You may hear your favorite song from K-LOVE and then an original piece. Oftentimes, the worship set is a contemporary blend. You might hear our favorite Kirk Franklin song followed by our favorite hymn!
We will often do a reading, either a unision prayer or a scripture reading together. Videos are frequent elements in our worship services as well.
We have a wonderful choir & orchestra that plays on the first and third Sundays of the month. Every Saturday and on Sundays that the choir & orchestra is not participating we have four praise teams that rotate.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide the entire service online for you due to copyright limitations with the music we play.
If you would like to serve by using your musical talent in our ministry, just follow the link on the left for information on how to get involved!
