Orientation to Foothills Bible Church is for those interested in finding out more about the ministry of our church. The class consists of four sessions. During these sessions we explain:
We look back at the history of our church, from its beginning in 1971 to our present day. Then we review Our Mission - Why We Exist and Our Vision - Where God is Leading Us.
We explain the distinctives of Bible churches in general before looking at the distinctives of our church, our core values and our doctrinal statement.
We review the constitution of our church and explain the leadership of our church from its elders and how elder government functions, to our pastoral, ministry and support staff. We then review our ministries in an effort to show the big picture of what God is doing through our church family and how you can become involved.
We explain the significance of membership in a local church today, the commitments required for membership in our church and our procedure for becoming a member. The classes are informal and designed to be interactive so that participants are free to ask any specific questions they may have about our church.
Classes are held in January, April, and September. You may register online for the next class by clicking the link on the left hand side of this page.
