Christianity 101 is a seven-week course on the basics of the Christian faith. The class is for new believers, those who have not yet made a decision to trust Christ for their salvation, and those who just want a refresher on the basics. The class is open for singles, couples, families, young and old. Come for a fun, informal and informative time. Doug Holden, one of our FBC Elders, is the instructor for this class.
What Topics Does Christianity 101 cover?
- How can we know God exists?
- How we can know the Bible is the inspired Word of God?
- What do baptism and communion mean?
- What is salvation?
- What are the spiritual disciplines: Prayer, fasting, Bible study, Scripture memorization, and solitude?
- How can we determine God’s will?
- How can we share our faith with others?
