Christianity 101

Christianity 101 is a seven-week course on the basics of the Christian faith. The class is for new believers, those who have not yet made a decision to trust Christ for their salvation, and those who just want a refresher on the basics.  The class is open for singles, couples, families, young and old.  Come for a fun, informal and informative time. Doug Holden, one of our FBC Elders, is the instructor for this class.

What Topics Does Christianity 101 cover?

  • How can we know God exists?
  • How we can know the Bible is the inspired Word of God? 
  • What do baptism and communion mean?
  • What is salvation?
  • What are the spiritual disciplines:  Prayer, fasting, Bible study, Scripture memorization, and solitude?
  • How can we determine God’s will? 
  • How can we share our faith with others?

This class is offered in February, April, and October.
