FBC Missionaries

Currently we have 25 missionary families or singles sent from our church. They provide a balance of both home and foreign ministry, as close as Denver or as far away as Mandaue City, Philippines.

When we send new missionaries we see them as extensions of Foothills and stand behind them fully. Becoming a missionary sent from Foothills involves a process that is monitored by the Missions Committee. To apply to become a FBC missionary you need to have been an active attender at Foothills for at least three years. Church membership is required. Another way to be involved in missions is by joining our Missions Committee. Please contact us if you are interested in serving on the Committee.

For a complete list of information, addresses, phone numbers, and how you can become involved with supporting our missionaries in the field, obtain a Missions Directory from either the Information Center in the main lobby or from the Missions Staff.

Missionary Care Team

The Missionary Care Team (MCT) was formed in 1995 to pray, share, and provide personal care for our FBC missionaries. This group has become one of our most effective teams. In December 2008, this team was revamped when our M&Ms ministry began providing leadership to the MCT.  They help with sending care packages, cards, emails, and providing prayer support for our 25 missionaries.

The MCT also operates a prayer chain, sponsors Birthday-in-a-Box for our missionary children, Christmas in July, and "Take a Missionary to Lunch Bunch." Their work (and yours as you participate in MCT-sponsored events) is making a difference. Just ask any of our missionaries!

"The MCT constantly reminds us that they know we are here, that they care we are here, that they pray for us and our ministries here, and they encourage us to stay here - all through their very tangible ministry to us!"

- Jeff and Fiona Hahn, FBC Missionaries in South Carolina

Prayer Opportunities

Prayer is a very important way of supporting our missionaries. Anyone who has a heart to pray for missions, please join the group that meets every Sunday between services in the Prayer Chapel.
