Illness or Disease

Please DO NOT bring a Sick Child to the Nursery and/or classroom where he/she can spread infection to other children.

Some signs of illness in a child are:

  • Unusual fatigue or irritability
  • Coughing, sneezing, or a runny nose
  • Fever - Please do not bring your child for at least 24 hours after the fever subsides.   The absence of fever must be without taking fever-reducing medication such as Tylenol, ibuprofen, or Advil.
  • Questionable rash
  • Vomiting or diarrhea
  • Ear or eye infection

If your child has any signs of a disease or illness that would expose other children, please be thoughtful of others and do not bring them to our Nursery and/or classroom.

If your child has allergies, please inform the Nursery Supervisor or class teacher when you sign your child into the Nursery and/or classroom.

If a child is being treated with antibiotics he/she needs to have received a full 24 hour dosage before being allowed into the Nursery and/or classroom.

Tips for your Diaper Bag

  • Disposable diapers with name
  • Plastic bag for emergency changes
  • Bottles - enough for the Nursery stay
  • Extra change of clothes
  • Pacifier if used

We request that your child's name or initials be placed on diaper bags, pacifiers, and bottles - with permanent marker or tape - for clear and distinctive identification
